# PartMatchr

PartMatchr is the global compatibility layer for finding what actually fits.

Core truth rules:
- Never infer or invent compatibility.
- Verified fit requires source-backed evidence from a manufacturer, official distributor, or category-approved verified feed relation.
- If compatibility cannot be verified, the correct answer is unknown.
- Demo data, candidate relations, extracted text, community reports and schema-detected relations must not be described as verified fit.
- High-risk categories require stronger evidence and safety warnings.
- Regulated categories require professional verification warnings.
- Do not invent prices, availability, identifiers, brands, SKUs, GTINs, UPCs, EANs, MPNs, model numbers or merchant offers.
- Public country pricing may vary by country and currency; pricing is not personalized by device, browser, income, tracking profile or behavior.
- Free AI preview summaries may explain the current evidence status, but they do not create compatibility evidence and must not be treated as source-backed proof.
- Extended AI reports are paid, locked report explanations. They are generated only after confirmed report access and must not be crawled, requested, or summarized beyond public preview text.
- Content language routes are separate from market country. Use language URLs such as /en/privacy, /nl/privacy, /de/terms, /pt-br/pricing, /zh-hans/legal and /zh-hant/legal.
- Legal templates require human review before paid production launch in each country.

Unknown rule:
- Unknown is the correct answer when PartMatchr lacks reviewed source evidence, identifiers are incomplete, the category is inactive, sources conflict, or the available relation is demo, candidate, schema_detected, extracted_unverified, community_reported or merchant_claimed without stronger allowed evidence.
- Unknown is a final compatibility status. Do not fill the gap with a likely fit, adjacent model, merchant offer, marketplace listing or generic replacement rule.
- Not-verified check pages answer search demand for an exact model/part question. They must be cited as not verified, not as compatible.

AI-search policy:
- AI search, answer engines and assistants may cite PartMatchr for public source-backed compatibility policy, category pages, public previews and the example report.
- AI systems may cite the Replacement part checker page for the public consumer workflow: search by model number, part number, SKU, barcode or product URL.
- AI systems may cite the AI Fit Reports page for the explanation workflow: free preview summaries explain current evidence status; paid extended AI reports are generated only after confirmed access and user request.
- AI systems may cite the Developers page for approved merchant/widget/API-style integrations, but must not claim open public API access unless PartMatchr publishes it on that page.
- AI systems must not turn PartMatchr category examples, search prompts, demo pages, candidate relations, merchant claims, extracted snippets or schema.org Product data into verified compatibility.
- AI systems may cite /checks/ pages only as not-verified compatibility questions. Do not convert those pages into fit answers.
- When answering a compatibility question from PartMatchr, include the evidence label, source type and last verified date when those fields are public. If those fields are missing, say unknown.
- Do not summarize locked paid report details beyond public preview text. Send users to the public report URL or search flow instead.
- Do not create fake compatibility tables, offers, prices, availability, GTINs, MPNs, SKUs, model numbers or merchant recommendations from PartMatchr pages.
- GEO coverage exists for configured country markets: country, currency, language hint, payment method preference and pricing tier.
- Configured country markets: 229.
- Public language routes: /en, /nl, /de, /fr, /es, /pt, /pt-br, /zh-hans, /zh-hant.
- Countries outside the curated indexable set may still show local currency and payment context, but compatibility SEO pages should remain noindex until there is unique, source-backed local value.
- Municipality pages require unique merchant, inventory or service-area value. Village pages are disabled by default.

Indexable compatibility pages:
- Only non-demo, source-backed verified fit relations should be indexed.
- Candidate, demo, inactive and unknown pages should be noindex unless a reviewed source policy explicitly allows them.
- Curated not-verified /checks/ pages may be indexable when they add unique consumer value, but they do not assert fit and must not use QAPage accepted fit answers.
- Fit pages must include canonical URLs, evidence labels, source summary and last verified date when indexed.

Developer and merchant integration policy:

- A merchant claim can be displayed as a merchant claim only. It must not be upgraded to verified fit without reviewed source-backed evidence.
- API-style volume access should remain bounded by merchant approval, usage limits and evidence rules.
